Shira Gottfried (she/they) is currently pursuing a Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Washington. She graduated from Georgia State University in 2021 with a B.A. in English Literature and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Shira is passionate about making literature more accessible and diverse, particularly when it comes to books for children and young adults.

When she isn't reading or writing, Shira can be found exploring Seattle, listening to podcasts, or walking her dog (Oscar Wilde).
